Turkish shepherds look at dead sheep in the town of Gevas, near the city of Van, eastern Turkey, Thursday, July 7, 2005. First one sheep jumped to its death. Then stunned Turkish shepherds, who had left the herd to graze while they had breakfast, watched as nearly 1,500 others followed, each leaping off the same cliff, according to the Turkish media reported on Friday July 8, 2005. Ok, one sheep maybe. Even two I can maybe see. But what in the world are the shepherds doing after, I don't know, 959?

I have no idea. Perhaps that is why 1150 of them are still alive? Those that are hanging kept the others from falling?
Or maybe the ones there hanging were squished by the other ones jumping? Cos how come they died if they are just at the top hanging there like that...
well i would say they are squished. i mean if 1150 sheep jumped on you, i bet you would be dead too.
