The message here must be: you do drugs, you get babes

A model parades in front of street children, some of whom are sniffing glue, in the drug-infested 'Barrio Triste' (Sad Neighborhood) in downtown Medellin in Colombia November 7, 2005. The event was organised to entertain the children by a member of a local charity that helps children in Barrio Triste by providing food, clothes and cleaning facilities. REUTERS/Albeiro Lopera

there are so many things wrong with this that i have decided to just let the pictures and the caption speak for themselves.

GOD BLESS THE CHILDREN!

Yeah, try having that on the streets of Harlem.

It's me again. You know what i think is funny. If you are bilingual, try using the Babel translation link on the blog. In Spanish, the headline for this story changes to "if you do drugs, you'll have babies". I think you can get sued by some drug cartel for defamation.
Oh, by the way, you know what's even funnier, your names get translated too. That's right, "Capricho", and that sounds cooler than your ghetto shiznit name.

where are the clothes that the charity provides? did they forget to bring them?

Perhaps she's modelling the clothes that the charity provides. Maybe all a poverty-stricken adolescent boy in Colombia's second largest city wants is a sexy black thong.

Perhaps the message is, this is what you can get if you work your way out of poverty. Possibly (but not necessarily) by becoming a drug lord.

I confess to being a little confused. Did she just walk around on the stage for a while? All the boys were wearing coats. It looks cold.

i was under the impression that street children needed food, CLOTHES, and shelter. how silly of me. if we give them heroine addicts things will work out fine.
